Disposal Units / Sluice Sinks / Slop Hoppers
Acorn Thorn supplies a wide range of stainless steel hospital disposal units, slop hoppers and sluice sinks, designed for use in healthcare including hospitals and care homes. Our selection includes wall mounted slop hoppers with integrated sinks and plain worktop designs (HTM code DU HS) as well as options featuring just the slop hopper and a plain worktop (HTM code DU H). Wall mounted models are available with top or back water entry, making them suitable for use with either exposed or concealed lever operated cisterns.
For installations requiring a different setup, we also offer a floor standing slop hopper only model with back entry, designed specifically for use with a concealed plastic lever operated cistern.
Stainless steel sluice sinks are available from stock, ready for fast delivery and tap holes can be drilled on request to suit your requirements. A selection of optional extras are also available, including front support legs, cisterns, P and S traps, strainers and taps.
Our sluice sinks are HBN 00-10 compliant and manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel for hygiene and durability and facilitate safe and efficient waste disposal.
