Instantaneous Water Heater For Eye Wash

Instantaneous point of use water heater ideal for use with eye wash fountains. Designed for non-continuous use it is perfect for installations where the unit will require warm water at short notice without the need to store warm water for long periods of time. Stainless steel casing with Celcon waterways and Ni Chrome heating coils.

The 2014 ANSI standards recommends that water supplied to eye wash units should be "tepid" and defines this temperature as being between 16-38°C (60-100°F). Temperatures higher than 38°C (100°F) are harmful to the eyes and can enhance chemical interaction with the skin and eyes. Temperatures lower than this will cause discomfort and prevent the user from keeping their eyes in the water stream.
